Toran and mahirap are two of the most visible pieces at any wedding entrance or mandap, which means getting the size and colour wrong is also highly visible. A few things worth deciding before you order.
A toran made for a home doorway will look thin and lost across a wedding-hall entrance or mandap frame. Send us the width of the space before choosing a design — we make custom sizes specifically because standard measurements rarely fit hall entrances.
It's tempting to match toran and mahirap colours to the bride and groom's outfits, but the décor is up for hours before and after the couple is even in frame. Matching it to the mandap's base colours — usually gold, maroon, or ivory — holds up better across the whole event and in photos.
Mahirap is used above doorways, around the mandap frame, and often at a stage or photo backdrop too. Couples frequently underestimate how many entry points a wedding venue has — count every doorway your guests will walk through, not just the main one.
